Hotel Reservations:

CIAN has established a special group room rate of $120.00 (plus 14% tax) for a non-smoking room with two double beds:

All room rates are quoted exclusive of applicable state and local taxes, currently 14%, which are subject to change without prior notice.

These rates are exclusive of additional services such as transportation fees, porterage fees, reservation fees, etc.

At Hotel's discretion, Hotel may offer these rates three (3) days prior to and three (3) days after the meeting dates as indicated on the first page of this contract, subject to availability of rooms at the time of reservation.

Reservations by attendees must be received on or before Friday, October 16, 2009 ("Cut-Off Date") in order to receive the Group rate: At the Cut-Off Date, the Hotel will review the reservation pick up for the event and release the unreserved rooms for general sale.

Method of Reservation: It is the Hotel's understanding that individuals will make their own reservations directly with the Hotel's Reservation Department via Telephone at 1-800-Kimpton or 424-901-7270. Please inform your attendees to request the IAB and CIAN Retreat function for your program.This will ensure that they are charged properly and your Room Block is credited.  A credit card is required to secure the reservation.

Graduate Students are encouraged to double up in rooms to save on meeting expenses.

Directions to Palomar Hotel from the south and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX):

The Los Angeles Hotel Palomar Los Angeles - Westwood, a Kimpton Hotel, is located about 12 miles from Los Angeles International Airport and takes between 20 minutes to one hour, depending on the time of day and traffic.

From the airport, take W. Century Way east for 1.8 miles.

Merge slightly right onto I-405 North. Go 9.3 miles.

Exit onto Wilshire Blvd. Go 1.1 miles.

Hotel Palomar Los Angeles - Westwood is located at 10740 Wilshire Boulevard at Selby Avenue.

IAB members may park at the hotel for $5.00/day on November 10, 2009

Overnight CIAN guests staying at the hotel may park for $15.00/overnight
